Planned For Final Fantasy XIV Patch 1.22

With the release of Final Fantasy XIV's latest and greatest patch, 1.21,it's bringing the long-awaited Job system, several updates to the game's consumable items, new quests, new options for mounts, and the usual plethora of other improvements. Fans of the game have been eagerly watching the updates, keeping an eye on what's around the bend, and getting ready to enjoy everything the new patch has to offer.

Patch 1.21 in  FFXI power leveling has finally gone live, and the World Merge is just around the corner. Things are still hectic here on the development team, but seeing how much everyone is enjoying the new content—the jobs chief among them—we’re pressing on towards the coming patches in high spirits.

On the subject of quests, the eccentric detective and his assistant deserve a mention. The people in charge of these two characters are simply ecstatic at the positive fan reception. As a matter of fact, they were in my office just now expressing their excitement. It may be some time after ffxi patch 1.22, but rest assured the investigative duo will appear again and embroil themselves in all sorts of incidents.

The main feature in this patch will be Garuda, a new primal, that producer, Naoki Yoshida, promises will be a challenging fight. 1.22 will also include more storylines and world quests to the game.

Another major feature in 1.22 will be new Materia crafting recipes. The patch will add new Materia types, make certain unique or untradable items convertible into Materia, and will also adjust the stats for existing Materia. Additionally, the Materia user interface will be tweaked, too. Here, ffxi power leveling can help you, too.

FFXI Patch 1.22 will see the threat of the Seventh Umbral Era grow ever more apparent. A new primal, Garuda, will descend to offer players the fight of their lives, while swarms of monsters will fall upon hamlets with a vengeance. You’ll also want to keep an eye on the developments between adventurers and entities like the Grand Companies and the Garlean Empire.

Hamlet defense, postponed from 1.21, appears in today’s ffxi powerleveling list. Replenishing supplies in order to expand and fortify hamlets will form part of the content, which can be enjoyed not only by battle classes, but crafters and gatherers as well. We believe that it will be worth the wait!

As for the all-important release date for 1.22, we’re aiming to have it go live at the end of April, ahead of the holiday period in Japan known as Golden Week with ffxi powerleveling. The whole team is running full tilt to meet this objective.

There are two more large patches planned before the release of version 2.0: 1.22 and 1.23. Of course, there will probably be a few smaller, incremental patches, such as FFXI 1.21a and 1.22b, in between. Upcoming content includes a battle against the primal Garuda as well as battles leading up to the Seventh Umbral Era event, not to mention the debut of Hamlet Defense, too!
